This is a piece of artwork that I have done in my spare time inspired by the artist Aygness Cecile. I have lightly used a 3B pencil to get a vague outline of a girls face followed by watercolour to create a dripping and splattered effect. When the piece was finished I scanned it into photoshop to adjust the levels and curves to make the colours appear more vibrant.

This is a double page spread taken out of my 'Floral Print' sketchbook. As part of one of the requirements for this brief, I researched various textiles designers, one of which was Celia Birtwell. I created a collage of various prints as a background, wrote conclusions of my findings about her and then drew a replica of one of her prints using black fine liner (shown on the bottom right and left hand corners).

For my 'Floral Print' brief, I decided to base my design ideas around paisley print. Using Photoshop, I collated inspirational images of prints and garments to help me produce my own print designs. You will see down the left, right and centre of the page are three print design ideas I have drawn in fine liner pen and scanned in. One of these I will select to print on two sarongs using a closed screen and a heat press.

One of the briefs that I am currently working on in college is on vintage lingerie. This mood board on 1920's lingerie has been created on Photoshop and then printed to add relevant fabric and lace trimming samples and to add silhouette drawings.

These are a selection of my initial design ideas for the vintage lingerie project I am currently working on done in fine liner pen. Four of these designs will be selected to develop and then create into garments.

In the first year of my BTEC, one of our briefs was to design a costume for a character in a Hollywood film. This is my final dress for the character Sugar Kane in 'Some Like It Hot'. It is made from crepe, lace, fringing with beads and bound around the edges. I styled and photographed my costume in a photography studio using a DSLR camera and uploaded the images onto Photoshop to create this page.
My final illustration of my Hollywood costume garment for the film 'Some Like It Hot' has been done in ink and Pro Marker and then scanned into photoshop to add a background and to put the lace panels in.
